"Hatsugama" is a tea celebration that celebrates the New Year, it is the most important tea ceremony of the highest standard among the annual events. We invite about 200 the parties concerned to "Hatsugama" at Wafudo (tea house name) of Ueda Soko Ryu in annual event. In this important tea ceremony, I performed tea ceremony on behalf of all Ueda Soko Ryu. It is a very honorable thing to perform tea ceremony that puts tea on " Hatsugama". It means that it was recognized as a tea person representing the Ueda Soko Ryu. I was wearing a black kimono which is the most formal dress of Japanese ancient times. I also took charge of the design of tea ceremony space and tools.
