A tea ritual was held at the Poster House Museum. This tea ritual was held as an event of the ongoing exhibition "Made in Japan: 20th-Century Poster Art.

The main visual for the exhibition was Ikko Tanaka's geometrical poster of Buyo, and I designed a tea room that replaced elements of the poster with a tea room. Normally tatami mats are rectangular in shape with a ratio of 1:2, but we created square tatami mats and curved tatami mats.
More than 20 guests came and enjoyed sweets and matcha tea. A report on the day was published in Yahoo! JAPAN(Text and photos by Kasumi Abe):
